Leather-Covered Buckler w/ Scalloped Boss

In use from the 12th to the 18th century, the Buckler stands apart from the traditional shield in that it was equal parts defensive and offensive. From Buhurt to rapier, the buckler has made itself indispensable. The beautiful leather covering to the surface and scalloped boss make for an aesthetically pleasing choice for the rapier duelist or buhurt fighter. Forged of 14 gauge steel, with rolled edges for safety, these bucklers have been approved for use at Carolina Carnage under the regulations of Buhurt International. Available in 3 sizes.
